Mom's parents made a temporary swing that you can hang to the ceiling. It is comfortable, sort of windy under hot Turkish sun, makes you sleepy immediately. Mom enjoys it, grandma loves it. Dad hates it- if I get used to this then how can I sleep in daycare or how can I sleep at home? Anyway, this is from the balcony in the Ankara house. I will enjoy it as long as possible. Somebody has to sit with me at all times when I sleep in it. This would definitely not pass the American safety standards or get JPMA certification. We saw similar swings, simpler versions in the villages we visited, the kind called 'gypsy swing' here (I know--not politically correct)
Hola beautiful Melisa! I think you should enjoy the swing for as long as you can...when you get bigger Tia Eveily will hook you up with a hammock - tell your dad not to worry!
