The plane trip was better than we expected. M. slept 8 1/2 hours of the total 11 hours of Chicago-Istanbul flight. She had a bassinet and safely slept in it--so mommy and daddy could sleep a little too. The only things were the long wait at Chicago as they could not find M.'s seat on the plane. We waited 45 minutes to have her check in. The second wait was in Istanbul. Everything was fine when all planes started to get the notice 'delayed' due to operational reasons. We learned here that the main airlines has problems recruiting hostesses which caused delays. M adjusted better than we expected to jetlag. It was almost midnight when we came home. It was only evening US time but she went back to sleep and woek up at 8:30 am. It took her about 3 days to adjust. Babies' biological times work great!
