Waterfalls

We went to the natural spring lake near the town, had trout grown by the locals. As there is always fresh water circulation, the fish was fine—this is the third time I’m having this fish since we have come here. Then we went to the waterfalls with mom’s new friends, who happen to be the brother of mom’s university friend and his wife. We had fun. They took us to a local farm where we could pick fruit and vegetables. We spent so much time picking strawberries—yes in this very season—and fresh thin green peppers. I had my first strawberries directly from the farm. No allergies! (Ps. He is a dentist and she is a midwife. Mom exchanged lots of medicalized birth stories including hers, and heard about lack of a gynecologist in this town of 10000+ people and villagers’ refusal to go to the big city even in the case of a risky birth as they do not have money...Anyway, they are so hospitable, we had breakfast another day, delicious Turkish pogaca, yummy, and she made mom and dad cigkofte without meat. Delicious! Thanks O.V. and E. and your babies-to-come!)
