I love reading books. Every book has a name. S. Boynton book, Mo Ba Lalala--lala book, Sleep in the deep--fish book, aaoo book (dogs barking under the moonlight), wee book (monsters sliding down the stairs), duck (mommy and baby duck getting ready to sleep, papa (patlicanlar--the eggplants book in Turkish), aaee (apple book in Turkish), etc. I can read by myself, tell you the story and entertain myself. But I still need mom and dad to sit on their laps and read me the whole story. Yes, I know all the stories before they turn the page I even know what will come next. My favorite nowadays is anything with penguins. I do a beautiful penguin sign.
I can repeat many words now. I can tell them both in English and Turkish. First, ac-ac- then oo-oo for open. I also sign open so my parents know they need to take me out of the seat. I can repeat papa for boat, doggie-haha for doggie, kitti and meow, bahbah for chicken and oc-pi for octapus. Dad thinks I should learn more useful words than oc-pi but I like oc-pi in my book.

Kitap okumayı çok seviyorum. Her kitabı tekrar tekrar okuyabilirim. Her kitabun da adı var, mesela papa kitabını annem okuyor, patlıcanlar kitabı. Mo-ba-lalala kitabının adı lala onu da babam okuyor. Kitapları adıyla istiyorum. Kendi kendime de okuyabiliyorum ama hala annemin ya da babamın dizine oturmayı ve bana kitabı anlatmalarını çok seviyorum.
Bir de her kelimeyi tekrarlamayı seviyorum. Türkçe aç deyince anlamıyorsa annem babam ooo diyorum open için ki açsınlar. İşaret dilinde de gösteriyorum. Doggii-havhav, kiti-miyav. En son ahtapot da diyorum oc-pi. Babam da yararlı kelimeler öğrenmemi istiyormuş, öyle söylüyor.
